A word, "Negro," possesses the complex evolution, deeply entrenched in our experience. First, it appeared as the accepted descriptor, frequently used in colonial period and later through the 19th era. However, that usage shifted substantially with rise of discriminatory ideologies and Jim oppression of African people. It became increasingly associa
